URGENT: [SA15292] Seeking Donations for Community Cat with Broken Hind Leg
Katy is a community cat from southern Singapore. She was lying quietly on the floor when she was found. She could not move and it was confirmed by residents that she fell down. Luckily, there was a wooden shoe rack and Katy fell onto it before she hit the floor.
Katy’s hind leg was suspected to be broken, and as no one came forward to claim her, she was brought to the vet. She was also not sterilised.
After X-ray was done, the vet said that Katy may be able to recover slowly as she is still young. Additionally, the broken hind leg seemed to be not too serious as she fell onto the wooden shoe rack.
As no one knew Katy, she was given into foster care and will stay there until she recovers and can be sent for sterilization.
The total medical cost incurred was SGD 453.43.
The caregiver is appealing for donations to help defray the cost incurred for Katy, with the appeal amount at SGD 453.43.
