A lady, Jita, has managed to rescue 37 cats, all currently temporarily housed at Pet Villa, 61, Pasir Ris Farmway 3. She intends to move all the cats to a nice spacious house in Malaysia as soon as possible.

However, the customs require that she microchips all the cats prior to the move. She is from a middle-class economic status, and each microchip procedure will cost $50. For 37 cats, this amounts to a total of S$ 1,850.

Xiao Bai is one of the 16 community cats that a caregiver Ming and his wife has been taking care of. The cats have all been sterilised except for 2, and are fed nightly with their favourite food.

2 weeks ago, Xiao Bai went missing for 3 days. Just when her caregivers were worried that she might had met with an accident or culled, she showed up on the third night with blood all over her nose and mouth and was badly dehydrated.

I do not represent any organisation and is working on this case closely with Mr Sivam who represents Sembawang Town Council (SBTC), with regards to the complaints made by residents that there are too many un-neutered cats, making lots of noise in the middle of the night and dirtying the area.
