Clarification of email regarding adoption of cats with a week to live

11 Jul 06 - There is an email circulating around the Internet requesting interested parties to email adoptions@catwelfare.org regarding adoption of cats that "have a reprieve until next week before they are all put down ". adoptions@catwelfare.org posted these cats on the Adoption Bulletin Board more than a year ago. Cat Welfare Society does not euthanise any cats because cws does not have a shelter and cws has a no-kill policy. Some of these cats have been adopted. Take Mr B of Image 17 - he was adopted to a AMK family in June/July 2005. Mr B had FUS (urinary blockage) but passed away in mid-October 2005 due to kidney failure. Dawn, Dell and SiaPing are familiar with Mr B (Image 17). Other cats do not have Mr B's distinictive looks so it would take a little while to trace each one by comparing photographs. Fosters sent in photographs and description of cats they would like to post on cws adoption bulletin board. The cats are with the fosters and are at NO time with cws.
