Charity Status

8 Jul 04 - Cat Welfare Society is pleased to announce that the Society has been given charity status by the Commissioner of Charities as of 28th June 2004.

We will next be applying for National Council of Social Services' membership and then for Institute of Public Character status and hope that this will be successful. This will allow individuals and corporations who donate to us to given tax exemption.

Thanks to all who have been supportive of CWS and especially those who came down for our EOGM.
