*Updated* Funding required for Patchy's wounded scrotum

About three weeks ago, I found out that there was a chunk of open flesh wound hanging from his hind side. It was his wounded scrotum, which is of no existence anymore! I thought since Patchy is a fighter and had survived many injuries, he can survive this. I was hoping it would dry up and heal fast. After two weeks of observation, it did managed to dry up, but would bleed again irregularly. I am inexperience and have little knowledge in handling cats so I did not know how to treat him. I couldn’t stand the sight of the hanging flesh and most importantly, knowing that Patchy is in pain. I quickly brought him to the vet. The vet did a blood test and gave him antibiotic jabs. Three days later, a surgery was done. That costs me a total of $848 (refer to receipts).

As he needs to be monitored due to his delicate stitches, he has to be caged for 14 days. I have no means of housing it at my place, thus I have no choice but to send him to 2nd Pet Boarding at Lim Chu Kang Lane 1 whereby there's a charge of $15/night for his recuperation stay there. He looks comfortable and I do hope he can recover fast.

Patchy will be going for 2 more reviews on his 5th & 14th day-after-surgery.

I know I may be extremely off the wall for spending that amount on an old stray cat that I don’t even know well and own. It hurts me knowing that he is a rejected cat and no one wants him. At least I know I am playing my role in giving him a better life. I have utilised my savings for Patchy. I am hoping to get funding support to ease me financially. Patchy’s condition on 11 March 2010

Its been 4 days since the scrotumless and shortened-penis / (penis-less) Patchy got discharged from his boarding stay. His stitches has been removed safely. All looks good. He is up on his feet and ready to see the world again!

I am truly blessed to receive help from two of my dearest friends, Phyllis & Shikin for donating a total sum of $360. Im currently still seeking funding support as I have paid up a hefty amount of $1126 for Patchy. Refer to attached receipts. Below is the breakdown of costings:
