Notice of 11th AGM

 NOTICE is hereby given that the 11^th Annual General Meeting of the Cat Welfare Society will be held: 

On  :    27^th March 2010 ( Saturday )

At  : 2:00PM

Venue  : National Volunteer and Philanthropy Centre

The agenda is as follows:

1. Minutes of Annual General MeetingTo confirm and adopt minutes of the 10^th Annual General Meeting held on 27^th March 2009.

2. Annual Report of the Committee
   To receive and adopt the Annual Report for the year 2009.

3. Audited Accounts
   To receive and adopt the audited accounts for the year ended 31^st December 2009. 

4. Election of Committee Members
   To elect the following office bearers and ordinary committee members for the year 2010:

• President
• Vice-president
• Secretary
• Treasurer
• Ordinary Committee Members (6)

5. Any Other Business
   To consider any other business as may be transacted at an Annual General Meeting of which notice has been given in writing to the Secretary.

Kindly bring your membership card with you on the day of the meeting as proof of identity. Thank you for your understanding.

We would like to take this opportunity to remind you to renew your membership for the year 2010, if you have not already done so. Your membership is important to us and lends the Society help and encouragement in its work to provide for the welfare of community cats in Singapore.

Your annual subscriptions and donations help pay for the sterilisation and medical treatment of hundreds of cats, and contribute towards the running of education and awareness programmes to promote tolerance and respect for animals. There is much more that still needs to be done for the welfare of the community cats that live among us. We hope that, with this in mind, you will continue to support our efforts with your membership.

Payment can be made via AXS stations, cheque, postal or money order.

To pay via AXS stations, look for Cat Welfare Society in the ‘Community’ category. A complete listing of the locations of AXS stations can be found at http://www.axs.com.sg/.
To pay by cheque or money order, please record your name and telephone contact number on the back of the cheque / money order and mail it to us with the membership form enclosed.
Cheque / money orders should be made payable to Cat Welfare Society. Please do not send cash through the mail.

If you are a life member or have already renewed your membership, we thank you for your continued support.

Community cats in Singapore are typically cast aside as pests and receive very little help or attention from society at large. Your contributions, whether financial or by volunteering your time, have helped in so many ways. We look forward to your continuous support in the years ahead.
