Be a Volunteer
Here are the ways in which you can improve the welfare of cats in Singapore
Community Cat Caregivers/Mediators
Caregiving is the single most important role in cat welfare. Community cats in our neighbourhood need us to ensure their safety and well-being.
- promote and practice responsible feeding
- ensure that the cats in the colony are all sterilised
- seek medical care if required
- engage and build relationships with management committees and their officers
- talk to complainants to help resolve conflicts with mutually acceptable solutions
- build and nurture caregivers' network
- report cases of abuse to SPCA and the police
Please contact veron@catwelfare.org indicating the blocks at which you can provide care for the cats.
Management Roles
The Society is constantly looking for people with passion and dedication to take on lead roles in our Society. If you have the drive and industry experience in areas such as accounting and finance, media relations, volunteer management, advertising and promotion, we would like to hear from you to see how we can work together to bring the Society to greater heights. We hope more people with the necessary experience and industry contacts can bring fresh ideas to the table as well as to help build a team to bring them to fruition.
Please contact veron@catwelfare.org with your area of interest and a little about yourself.
