URGENT: Seeking Donations to Defray Hospital Bill of Community Cat Xiao Bai
Xiao Bai is one of the 16 community cats that a caregiver Ming and his wife has been taking care of. The cats have all been sterilised except for 2, and are fed nightly with their favourite food.
2 weeks ago, Xiao Bai went missing for 3 days. Just when her caregivers were worried that she might had met with an accident or culled, she showed up on the third night with blood all over her nose and mouth and was badly dehydrated.
Xiao Bai was rushed to the vet and had to be on IV drip and hospitalised for 2 days. A number of blood tests were also done. Xiao Bai was diagnose with severe cat flu and jaundice.
Xiao Bai is all well now and her caregivers have since released her back to her usual area. They have been continuing to medicate and feed her diligently.
Usually the caregivers would not have sought help for the care or sterilisation of the cats under their care. However, the medical bill for Xiao Bai is just too much for them to bear at this moment.
