URGENT: Seeking Temporary Foster Home for Scatha the Cat
Scatha is a beautiful domestic shorthair cat that one evening, months ago, sauntered into our shophouse and decided to stay. He was about a year old at that time. He seemed to already be toilet trained as he would wait his turn at the toilet door and use the squatting toilet (he would pee inside it!) when his turn came.

It seemed to us that he was probably a lost indoor cat and might not be able to fend for himself outdoors so we welcomed him with a new home.
Recently, he fell sick and upon a visit to the vet, we found out that he had a giant abcess infection all around his tail. The infection had spread so big that he wasn't able to walk or eat or react to anyone as he was in too much pain. At the vet, his pus infection was flushed out, and after the fur in the area was shaved we found that the skin above the infection had already turned black and died. After two days of hospitalisation and many sad hours later, we were able to take him home again knowing that the dead skin would start to shrivel and fall off. A week later now, and the dead skin indeed has started to dry up, leaving a huge flesh wound on his body around his tail and even on the surface of his testicles, which needs to be disinfected and cleaned, and have ointment applied everyday. He is also on antibiotic medication.
My partner and i have blown our last few dollars on his medical bills without regret and would appreciate some financial help (the bill was $800+ at Pet Rescue Centre at Whampoa), but are now are faced with another problem too - we are moving out and shifting at the end of August and a dusty, chaotic environment is no place for poor Scatha, especially in his condition. We worry about his stress levels and the healing of the wound as we have been advised to keep him in a clean indoor space.
We are urgently looking for a temporary foster home for Scatha.
Scatha is a loving, talkative, adorable cat that we love very much, and er are hoping to find a temporary foster home for him while we settle the shifting (it might take up to 2 months before we have a conducive environment for him again).
We are hoping to find someone caring enough to help us out with a clean indoor environment for him, plus the medical care he needs (cleaning of wounds) for the time being.
We are gonig to miss him being around everyday with his greeting at the door but would rather he have a nice clean and orderly space to live and play for the time being rather than involve him in the mess and hassle of shifting.
