URGENT: Seeking Donations for Sterilisation of 18 Cats Surrendered by Old Lady

An old lady had given permission to Aljunied Town Council to activate pest control to remove her cats - 18 in total, unsterilised - this morning (1 September 2010).

The pest control van was thankfully intercepted by a caregiver who now needs to sterilise all 18 cats before they can then be subsequently dispersed to different colonies.

The estimated cost of this endeavour - including transport and boarding - will be about $300 (over and above sterilisation reimbursements that the caregiver can claim from CWS).

Some of these cats have already been sent to clinics for sterilisation, including Light of Light Clinic and Clinic for Pets.

All verified donations will be acknowledged by email. Once the required appeal amount is reached, the appeal will be closed. Please note that any additional amounts or untraceable amounts collected will go to Cat Welfare Society's sterilisation fund.

Thank you!
