Sam: Cat Who Was Severely Injured

A stray cat suddenly appeared on 8 Jan evening in my area with rotting flesh hanging from side of neck area and in a very shocking
condition, all skin and bones and limping.

Finally managed to catch him on 13 Jan evening and brought him to the vet. They removed all the maggots and cut up dead skin and cleaned up his very large 'hole' on the right side of neck. He also has a fractured right hind leg and dislocated front right leg.

He looks pretty starved and only weighed in at 2.1kg (he is a big sized cat so you can imagine how skinny he is)

He is eating well now and  his wound has been cleaned up and bandaged. His skin will probably take about a month or more to grow back and needs to be cleaned daily.

Am hoping he can stay in the vet clinic for a little longer so that he gets professional help and am appealing to anyone who would like to sponsor / donate to his fund. His name is Sam and he is in the Animal Doctors (in Ang Mo Kio) tel : 6451 4531.
