Home > Special Appeals

From time to time, a dire situaton arises that warrants a special effort on our part. The Society does its best to provide aid in these situations, but as a small organization, we often find that we cannot go it alone without appealing to the public for help. These appeals are listed here in the hope that they will come to the attention of those with the heart and the means to help. Please read on.

THIS APPEAL IS NOW CLOSED - THANK YOU TO ALL WHO HELPED.

On the 30th of January 2007, a female cat with newborn kittens of about a week was found to have a broken right hind leg. The person who is putting up this appeal managed to send the female cat to Mt Pleasant Animal Clinic and the 5 newborn kittens are now in a foster home. they have paid a deposit to the clinic and the vet has informed him that the cat needs surgery. Estimated cost for this is SGD1500.

The person sending this appeal says :

"I have done whatever is financially able for me but to finance the surgery is tough on my pockets. I am seeking the help of CWS or anyone out there to assist me with this as there is nothing else that I am able to do but to seek your help."

The cat will be fostered till it can be adopted, or otherwise will be adopted by the person putting up the appeal.

For more information on how you can help, please write to us at info@catwelfare.org.

CWS received this appeal from a member of the public and we hope that you will be able to do what you can to help this cat. Please note, however, that while CWS does its best to verify appeals before putting them on this board, the message is provided by the rescuer/caregiver. CWS cannot therefore be liable for the representations made here.

Thank you for giving.
