Traps For Loan

Need to borrow a humane cat trap for sterilisation? The Cat Welfare Society rents traps out on a 6-months basis to our members. To avoid abuse, please note that the traps are non-transferable and must be returned or renewed at the end of 6 months.

How to loan a trap:

To ensure that traps are loaned to people who have experience in cat trapping and genuinely care for the welfare of community cats, only CWS members who are also registered caregivers can loan traps from us.

To register as a caregiver, please email us at info@catwelfare.org with the following information
1) Name
2) Blk(s) & Street(s) that you look after
3) Reference from another caregiver (Name, location, contact details)

Also fill in this form and email to info@catwelfare.org.

We will get back to you as soon as we can to arrange the pick-up of the traps, subject to their availability.

Charges:

We require a $100 deposit. It’s fully refundable upon return of the traps. We accept cheques made out to Cat Welfare Society, or cash. (Please send a cheque only after receiving a confirmation of availability of traps.)

Other Cat Trapping Options

If no traps are available or you have difficulty trapping the cats, there are professional services that you can engage that provide the full service of trapping, transportation and boarding. Special rates are given to CWS members.
