Sammie is half a litter to Mommy Amber who was rescued when she was pregnant. We separated her from sister & mom at 6 months old when she was found with a swollen paw which was a false tetanus alarm.
Soon after Sammie recovered from the infection, we found her a home. However, things didn’t work out all that well at her adopter’s place. The family had 2 dogs + 5 cats and they were loving to Sammie, especially the 2 little human girls but Sammie was terrified of their old black cat, Nala. She would hissed and become disoriented even when Nala was merely looking at her. Due to this, they had to put Sammie in the study room and she became the lonely book room cat.
So, Sammie is once again up for adoption at the age of 1 year old. She’s a unique girl with a sweet high-pitch meow and oriental eyes. Sammie plays and eats well, and gets along well with humans and (not-too-jumpy) dogs.
To adopt her, please contact us and we will be happy to arrange for a visitation.
