Give Mature-Age Cats a Chance; They Deserve More Than Just A Glance!
Meet Pink Nose: a sweet and mild-mannered former community cat. Now eight years young, he was only about six months old when he was first allowed to free-roam by irresponsible, neglectful owners. He then spent the next seven+ years as a stray after his owners decided to stop letting him return home i.e. completely abandoned him.
Although Pink Nose was well-loved and well-fed by his caregiver, life outdoors was not exactly easy for him, mainly because he had to endure persistent bullying from another community cat—ironically, it was his same-litter twin brother, also abandoned by the same hoarder household, who would constantly terrorise and chase him.
In September 2025, Pink Nose bid adieu to the (Not-So-)Great Outdoors after an indolent ulcer growing on the inside of his upper lip ruptured and left him bleeding profusely from the mouth. The ulcer was triggered by environmental irritants: poor Pink Nose had developed a habit of grooming himself rather obsessively due to anxiety and stress from being viciously bullied by his naughty brother, and it was highly likely that the ulceration was an allergic reaction to something he had ingested while cleaning his fur and paws (e.g. bleach and other harsh cleaning agents used to wash the void deck floors).
After two visits to the vet and treatment in the form of steroids and antibiotics, Pink Nose is now ulcer-free, fully healed, and being lovingly cared for by his fosterer Reen. Putting him back at the void deck is not a viable option, as his lip ulcer was an allergic response to something in the outdoor environment. If he goes back outside, he might potentially get indolent ulcers again.
Pink Nose is a simple boy with simple needs. Low-maintenance and easy-to-please, it does not take much for him to be content. A purr-fect balance of playful and chill, he is happy to just sit beside you quietly, but also enjoys a fun bonding session with toys.
Pink Nose is ready to meet his fur-ever humans. Ready to be loved, and love in return. Will you be the ones to welcome this innocent-faced and pure-hearted kitty into your home? Note that CWS adoption guidelines apply and must be followed.
