Merlin was rescued 2 years ago but due to his shy and skittish personality, he struggled to find his forever home. Through patience, love and rehabilitation, he has slowly learned to trust humans again and what a beautiful soul he has become. This handsome boy is sweet, sensitive, affectionate and full of personality once he feels safe. Give him a little time and space and you will discover a playful, curious, chatty companion who is also a fuss-free eater.

Merlin absolutely loves headbutts and will happily purr while rubbing himself against you once he trusts you. He enjoys kneading, asking for chin scritches and soaking up affection from his favourite humans. He will greet you every morning and be there to welcome you home after a long day. When it is playtime, expect adorable zoomies as he dashes around chasing his favourite toys like an excited little kitten.

Merlin would thrive best as the only cat in the home where he can enjoy all the love and attention for himself. A home with a calm and easy-going resident cat may also work but introductions will need to be done very slowly and patiently.

Adoption’s criteria:
1) Must allow Pre and Post home visits with appointment.
2) House must be fully meshed/cat proofed (High Intensity Meshing/Pet Netting or installing grille of 1.5 inch gap).
3) Keep Merlin strictly indoor ONLY.
4) Cat must be fed with quality wet and dry food.
5) Cat must be given the necessary vet care when needed.
6) Fill up an adoption questionnaire.
7) Signing of adoption contract and adoption fee applies.
