CWS has also launched a Fosterer Survey to update its database of fosterers this year to more effectively administer and advocate for them in the Cat Management Framework. Over 1.5 years after the launch of the Cat Management Framework, there is still no announcement on supporting measures for fosterers. This is a group of people that bears a disproportionate burden of care for abandoned, sickly and needy cats like victims of abandonment, or community cats with medical needs. They need to be supported and their burdens alleviated.
