ADOPTION NOTICE FOR TIGER

Tiger is a community cat my friend has been feeding for 10 years. He got an eye injury and had his eye removed 3.5 months ago but is otherwise healthy. We’re hoping to find him a good forever home so he won’t have to live on the streets again.

CAT INFO:
-Breed & color: brown tabby, domestic short hair
-Gender: Male
-Age: estimated to be 8-10 years old
-Sterilized, litter trained, deflea-ed and dewormed
-FIV & FeLV negative
-Personality: Tiger is affectionate, food driven, feisty, and playful but he is also very loud and loves playing outdoors, so he needs a patient adopter who knows how to handle the loud meowing and can give him time to adapt to living indoors.
-Suitable for both single and multi cat households (with proper introduction).

ADOPTION REQUIREMENTS (in line with CWS guidelines):
-Fully mesh house (all windows, doors, gates, balconies, grilles no wider than 2”)
-Keep Tiger strictly indoors, no roaming
-Access to vet care
-Long-term commitment (cats can live up to 20 years)
-Provide Tiger with good quality wet and dry food
-Provide stimulation (toys, scratch posts, play time, etc.)
-Have the financial means to allocate at least $200-300/month expenses for Tiger (excluding emergencies)
-Allow house visit(s) before adoption by caregiver (my friend) to make sure all adoption requirements are met
-Allow for a 2 week adoption trial
-Sign adoption agreement
