Flora has had a tough year. Suspected to have been abandoned, she quickly had to learn how to survive as a community cat. Major fail – the sweet girl has no street survival skills. As a community cat she loved taking lifts, playing on the road, and never retaliated when children hit her with sticks. After being attacked and bitten by a fellow community cat, the neighbourhood feeders made a collective decision to find her a home.
Flora is a sweet and calm girl. She may need some time to warm up but once she does she looooves attention and belly rubs. She is playful, loves toys, and has regular zoomies. She would need a family that can match her chill energy while also ensuring she receives sufficient play time. Due to her bad experience in the wild, she lacks confidence and may need time to adjust from foster care to her forever home (change of environment). She may also start off better in a single cat household.
Flora has been in the safety of a foster home since mid-July. She is FELV/FIV negative, has had her first vaccine, and the vet has assessed her to be in good health. Flora needs someone with a big heart and lots of love to give! If that’s you, reach out to me for a chat 🙂
