Mimzy was adopted from SPCA on 14/3/2016 when she was named Luxury, around 2.5 mths old. She was sterilised and microchipped.
Mimzy was a normal huggable kitten until I rescued another kitten from the streets in Dec.2016. Many fights broke out between them and she became defensively aggressive. 7 years ago, in 2018, she bit my daughter’s finger when accidentally startled. My daughter had surgery as it got badly infected. Ever since then, Mimzy was moved into my brother’s bedroom. Being the only cat in his room, she’s more calm now but always in hiding, only coming out for food and litter box. She sometimes will lie on my brother’s bed, even beside his pillow.
Unfortunately yesterday, she scratched my brother’s arm… 2 long scratch lines! Maybe he accidentally startled her. My brother was diagnosed with Parkinsonism, diabetes, hypertension and high cholesterol a few years ago. His mobility is deteriorating and is recently diagnosed with dementia. It’s no longer safe for my brother to have an aggressive cat in his room.
I really desperately need to rehome my cat. I’ll need help to trap Mimzy into a cage as I’m very afraid she’ll scratch or bite me.
