(a) Microchip – teeny weeny rice grain sized chip that has a unique number. Like a super tiny NRIC

(b) Microchip applicator – this is how the microchip is inserted

(c) Microchip scanner – this scans the cat and reads the microchip with the unique “NRIC Number”

(d) Microchip number – this is your cat’s “NRIC Number”
