[Adoption Post]

Cheesecake was rescued in JB and came to the shelter some time last year. She had been found weak and paralysed from waist down. Volunteers at the shelter did our best to give her the best care, but we did not expect her to make it. Yet miraculously, she managed to pull through and started to look better, eat on her own, and even regain ability in her limbs.

Seeing that she has went through so much, a kind volunteer decided to sponsor her journey to Singapore to find a loving forever home she deserves. However, reality struck again and she is discovered to be FIV+ and diagnosed with Chronic Kidney Disease.

Despite this, having been through so much, we hope that Cheesecake can still complete her journey and be adopted in Singapore.

Cheesecake has an extremely gentle personality and gets along with all cats and humans. Even when she was unwell, she would be seen grooming other cats, caring for them. She eats well and is not picky, and absolutely adores human attention. While the cost to bring her over to Singapore will be fully covered by her sponsor, and there is no adoption fee, the adopter should be aware of the medical costs associated with her CKD and be able to cope financially.

We have until end May to find an adopter for her, hopefully in Singapore but adoptions in Malaysia are possible too. If she is not adopted, she will have to go back to the shelter.
