Popcorn is a  male cat estimated to be 2-3 years old.  His age is not medically proven, but rather based on a combination of factors like appearance, behaviour and the period he wandered into our space as a kitten.

Popcorn is a neighbourhood cat who allows many people to pet him. Home has always been a bench at the void deck, or under a vehicle. He navigates acording to the situation deciding what is the best space for him. As his living environment becomes more unpredictable, his feeders are helping him to find a loving home to keep him safe indoors.

Popcorn is the cutest thing ever who enjoys companionship when he feels absolutely secure in his environment. He has been exposed to a human environment, and can be affectionate and goofy once the trust and consistency is built.

Before you adopt,  there are practical considerations, primarily involving behavioural adjustment and hidden medical issues because they affect the human, and pet’s quality of life.

Community cats are accustomed to their outdoor environment/freedom, and some may experience severe stress when confined indoors in the early days. Socialized cats usually can become indoor cats, but the transition to a confined environment requires patience and time. Popcorn has never lived indoors and does not know human domestic rules like “no scratching of sofa and doors, or no jumping onto countertops”.

Popcorn has never had a health check.  He is neutered with a tipped ear.

Ginger cats are known for their lively personalities. It can sometimes translate to impulsive behaviour or misunderstanding of boundaries during play leading to scratching and nipping. Moreover, he is a young cat. The caregiver must know how to redirect the energy, or stop and ignore. Families with very young kids are not suitable unless you can provide constant supervision.

Popcorn has a tendency to chase other cats in the estate, and has not been tested for FIV & FELV. A single-cat household is preferred unless you have experience integrating multiple cats or a dog.

Popcorn is suitable only for experienced cat owners, preferably someone who has experience fostering or rescuing street cats. When issues like stress, toileting and night anxiety arises, the human will be in a better position to handle the situation.

Finally, ensure that your family and you are not allergic to pets before you proceed with the adoption.

Adopters must adhere to the following:

Cat must be kept INDOORS, accessible openings to be meshed.

Provide wet & dry food. Have the financial means for the next 10 years to provide vet care when needed. Give proper enrichment, so that cat is happy, healthy and fulfilled with an indoor lifestyle.

Allow a pre-adoption home visit and one after-adoption home visit one month after the cat is adopted. Due diligence is necessary to ensure the cat  lives in a healthy environment. Contact [email protected] if you are interested to adopt.
