From HDB void deck warrior to full-time indoor softie.
He used to rule the HDB void decks like a tiny “street fighter.” Untouchable. Distant. Pure survival mode.
He was rounded up for TNR by Cat Welfare Society (CWS) just as we were trying to catch him ourselves — we noticed an eye injury and an open wound. We’ll never know what happened. Maybe a vehicle accident… maybe someone hurt him. Either way, street life wasn’t kind.
A CWS trapper secured him safely and got his injuries treated. After 1.5 months, Batty was scheduled to be released — but his FIV/FeLV test came back negative, and we felt this tough boy deserved a different ending.
So home he came.
Vet cleared his eye. Wound healed well. What he really needed? Time. Safety. Patience.
And wow — 360° change.

He’s still cautious with visitors, but once he bonds, he bonds deeply.

Adoption Guidelines:

Cats/kittens must be kept strictly indoors with all windows and gates securely meshed.

Adopter must be financially stable, and all household members must agree to the adoption.

Provide good-quality food and regular vet care. (No to supermarket brands)

Adoption visit, adoption fee and contract apply.
Adoption Process:

Complete the questionnaire via WhatsApp for review.

Send photos and videos of your cat-proofed home before meeting and interacting with the cat.

Upon successful completion of the home trial, sign the contract and pay the adoption fee of SGD 200, which covers medical care (vaccinations, tests, deworming etc) and a portion of daily care costs.
