YY, short for Yuan Yuan, is about 11-12 years old, but she looks like a forever kitten. Her body shape is short and round, likely a genetic mutation resulting in her small size and short legs, but she looks cute and has a big personality.

YY is a female community cat. Since young, she lives behind a clinic shophouse. She survives on cat food given by kind-hearted feeders who look out for her well-being. No major health issues from what we know, but prone to UTI and constipation if not properly cared for.

Feeders have sheltered her tempoary in a home when she needed medical care. She can adapt to urban living with humans. She is shy and timid, but very affectionate once she warms up to you. She is not noisy, does not jump all over the place due to her short legs. Her favorite pastime is rolling on the ground, doing her prata flips. We truly believe she would make a nice housecat.

The potential adopter must understand the needs of senior acts and be able to provide her with veterinary care regularly.

She is afraid of other cats so  she preferably to be the only cat in the family. She is sterilized.

She needs a cat experienced owner who can adhere to the following:

• Cat must be kept at all times INDOORS
• Provide mostly wet food & the occasional dry food
• Have the financial means to provide vet care as and when needed
• Give proper enrichment, so that cat is happy, healthy and fulfilled with an indoor lifestyle
• A small adoption fee & signing of adoption contract applies
• Allow a pre-adoption home visit and 1-2 home visits (pre-arranged) by fosterer/ rescuer when the cat is adopted. Simply, we want to ensure the cat is well-cared for.
